Rapid Response ensures that bookstores receive fast order acknowledgements. Pubnet Rapid Response® suppliers guarantee that they will deliver Purchase Order Acknowledgements (POAs) within 15 or 30 minutes of order receipt.
How Rapid Response Works
The Rapid Response service is defined as having an 'event-driven mailbox' on Enterprise, Pubnet's core application. As soon as a Purchase Order is placed into the event-driven mailbox, the Rapid Response service sends the data to the Supplier, who is responsible for processing the orders and returning the acknowledgements in a timely manner.
To participate as a Rapid Response Supplier, POAs must be returned within a maximum of 15 or 30 minutes. For Purchase Orders sent to Suppliers that can provide immediate turnaround, Rapid Response POAs should be returned within the same session.
Once a Supplier implements Rapid Response, all orders are considered Rapid Response orders. Retailers cannot choose which orders should be handled via this service.
How to Sign Up
Publishers who would like more information about participating in Rapid Response should contact us.
