Pubnet is a membership organization that provides you access to top publishers and suppliers. Pubnet can be considered a SINGLE trading partner to you. It’s easiest to think of us as a “consolidator” – we consolidate the purchase order acknowledgements and other business documents for all suppliers and put them in your own EDI mailbox, so you can retrieve with just one mouse click.

Since some Pubnet publishers and supplier members will send electronic invoices at this time, you should consider receiving the invoice transaction set (810) or Advanced Ship Notice (ASN 856), in addition to the Purchase Order Acknowledgements (855) transactions. In many cases you will have more time to pay invoices received electronic via EDI.

Becoming a member of Pubnet is easy. Simply, complete the Pubnet online registration. After our Technical Client Service group has received the agreement as well processed your registration, you will receive a “Welcome to PUBNET” e-mail containing your mailbox information, including IDs and passwords, instructions for connecting to our network and step-by-step guidelines for testing and certification.

Membership to Pubnet and obtain access to over 100 publishers and suppliers requires a one-time membership fee of $75.
